It is true that you will lose some weight from skip meal but it also cause many problems to your health as well. Let see what skip one meal can do to you.
1. Low blood sugar: Low blood sugar can cause you to feel tired, fatigued, and over unwell. This happens because when you skip one meal, you also lose some of energy (sugar) that needed for your body to function normally.
2. Slow down metabolism: The chain effect from the first one, once your body doesn't get energy it needs, it will turn on the saving mode. In this mode your metabolism will slow down in order to keep your body functioning. After that when you eat again, your body will consume everything that it can from that food, making it harder to lose weight.
3. Brain Malfunction: Again from the first one, when your body have less energy to spend so do your brain. With lack of energy it needs to run, it runs like drank man. This can make you feel foggy, unable to concentrate, irritable, and moody.
So you better eat something light instead of skip meal to keep your sugar level as well as your metabolism. Then do exercises to lose fat and increase muscle for your own healthy life.
